Special Temporary Measures (June 1 - November 30, 2024) Travelers from the EU, UK, Canada, USA, Brazil, Chile, Argentina, Colombia, and Ecuador are eligible to enter the Dominican Republic for tourism purposes with a passport that remains valid throughout their stay, even if it is set to expire within this period. Diplomatic Exceptions Diplomats, officials from international organizations, and their families may enter the country without meeting the standard entry requirements, under conditions of reciprocity. Round-Trip Flight Requirement Since April 2023, airlines operating to and from the Dominican Republic are required to verify that foreign passengers possess a round-trip flight ticket.
